He Had to be Born...

He Had to be Born to...

Why a baby in a manger? Why even a child? If God wanted to save humanity, why did he even come down to us? The book of Hebrews tells us these answers and more, explaining why God reached down to humanity to rescue them, and why Jesus had to be born as a human. This series touches on the important doctrine of the Hypostatic Union, that Jesus was both fully human and fully divine, man and God, two natures in one person. Let us not forget just how amazing it that the eternal God, creator of the universe, king above all kings, came down as a tiny baby, a suffering human in order to reach us and atone for our sins, that we might know eternal life with Him.

Key Verse: Hebrews 13:20-21 Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
